Don't Forget is made by Cole Stegman.
Don't Forget does not collect, transmit, or store your personal information. There is no account, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app contains no networking code and works with no internet connection.
When you add a screenshot, the app reads the text in it using Apple's Vision framework, which runs entirely on your device. The image is never uploaded and never leaves your phone. We never see it.
The app does not keep a copy of your screenshots.
When you save a reminder, it is written to Apple Reminders on your device using Apple's EventKit framework, and it syncs wherever your Reminders already sync under your own Apple Account. That data belongs to you and is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours.
Don't Forget also keeps a small local record of what it created, so it can show your upcoming list and notice duplicates. That record stays on your device in a container shared between the app and its Share Extension. Deleting the app deletes it.
The optional one-time purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your payment details. Whether you have purchased is stored on your device and verified by Apple's StoreKit.
The app asks for one permission: access to Reminders, and only at the moment you first save something. You can revoke it at any time in Settings, Privacy & Security, Reminders.
Choosing a photo uses Apple's standard picker. The app only receives the image you pick and has no access to the rest of your library.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, we do not expect it to.
